MarkUp- the official marketing committee of IMT-Ghaziabad is a student run marketing enterprise which aims to nurture the marketing spirit not only at IMT but amongst all the budding marketers across the country. It provides a platform to budding marketers to give them hands-on experience at real world problems pertaining in the market through various marketing events organized at college and national level with strong industry interface.

MarkUp actively collaborates with the corporates to offer various Short-term Projects to students at IMT. It also organizes various guest lectures and corporate interactions at IMT. MarkUp has a strong network of alumni who guide and support its activities in every way possible.

Marketing World Cup

Marketing World Cup, organized by MarkUp is one of the most awaited marketing events among the B-School fraternity. Voted as the 2nd best B-school event in an online survey by Dare2Compete, MWC is a 48-hour non-stop face-off between the contenders from top B-schools of the country

Eureka Effect

The Eureka Effect is an engaging marketing conclave with discussions on current marketing trends. Every year, we have CXOs and other industry stalwarts come to our campus and share their stories and insights with the students.


The only advertising related Inter B-school competition at IMT. Ad-O-Holic sees participation from top B-schools of the country like MDI, IIM – Indore, IIM – Shillong, IIT Delhi DMS and IIM – Ranchi.


The first marketing event of the academic year hosted by MarkUp, excusively for first year students. MarkRoadies, now a decade old, is kicked off every year at IMT’s iconic amphitheater when the new students are still getting accustomed to the rigor of a management program.
